Forbes Group employees are taking to the sky

Two members of staff from the Forbes Group are taking to the sky in support of the medical teams that have helped their relatives.

Rebecca Ryder from the Sales office is skydiving in support of Birmingham Children’s Hospital. Becky’s son has been treated in the children’s hospital, undergoing open heart surgery in June 2011 when he was just a week old. He also underwent a second operation in January 2012 and has since had multiple keyhole surgery procedures. Becky says “if he can go through all that he has, and still be smiling, I can do this!”

Laura Castle, Operations Director at Forbes Group, is fundraising for Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. Laura has had first-hand experience of the renal team at Queen Elizabeth, who have played a pivotal role in her family's life over the past 5 years. Laura says “All monies donated in response to my sky dive will go to the renal department to assist in helping others facing their own battle.”

Both the sky-dives will take place on 26 May 2018 at a local airfield. Friends and family for both Becky and Laura will be there to cheer for them on the day and the whole team at Forbes Group will be supporting them along the way.
